A presentation of the myriad objects produced in the Medieval world from the beginnings of Christianity to the rise of the Renaissance.

Tapestries, stained glass, treasures of gold and silver come alive in this tour of the richest collection of Medieval and Byzantine art outside of Europe. From Paris to Rome to Constantinople, travel through a millennium of great monuments that conjure imperial courts, gothic cathedrals, and princely castles.
